I have been going to the Missouri Botanical Gardens Gardenland Express train and flower show every Christmas season for more years than I’d like to mention, but this last show was definitely the best ever! This posting is coming a bit late, but it was too wonderful not to share my favorite bits and pieces.
There were also colorful and beautifully hand embroidered wall hangings to enjoy.
To make the day just a bit more magical, there was a soft snowfall that morning that frosted the trees and bushes.

That looks like so much fun, yet I’ve never gone. Must do that this holiday season. I’ve never missed the orchid show—–what a balm that is! Must soothe the tired winter spirit with those fabulous flowers, fountains, and bird song. Thanks for sending, Jeannie!

Hey girlfriend have been thinking of you. I have you in my book to remind you the art museum flowers show (Art in Bloom) is scheduled for March 2-4. I am planning on hitting it at 10:00 on Friday the 2nd. If you are interested in joining me great! I figure you are quite happy having the grand baby here and the man! Judy
