Posting Dated January 25, 2014
The snow has melted now ( thank God) . Just like a lot of the country, we got hit with some winter weather this month. But, in spite of the snow, a bird feeder and some water will still bring bird watching opportunities, plus, our feathered friends will be very grateful. Here’s a sampling of my visitors:
Carolina Wren
Tufted Tit Mouse ( one of my favorites)
Dark Eyed Junko
Cardinal
This Eurasian Sparrow and his mate has been living in this house since last summer.
Black capped chickadee and a Song Sparrow ( I think). The Song Sparrow is a regular at my feeders and my birdbath all year round.
A Gold Finch with her winter colors.
